This dry fly hook is unique due to its Limerick bend. The shape of the wire in the bend weights the tail end of the fly more than a perfect bend or a round bend. Emerger patterns will sit more upright in the water. Some dry flies are more aesthetically pleasing when tied on this hook style.

The hooks are made of the finest high-carbon steel, which is hardened and tempered to an exacting formula that makes for a long point life and a very strong hook.
